I can’t get this song out of my head. It’s been on repeat for days.

Sitting in the woods yesterday, my sanctuary, I realized there’s really no other reason to wake up. He raised me from death to life. The life I now live, I live for Christ who loved me and gave Himself up for me. And He’s called me to live a life worthy of that gift of life. To love Him and love the one in front of me out of the overflow of His love for me. He loves me before I was born. That wasn’t a typo. He loves me while I hated Him. He loves me through my mess. He loves me. It’s always present tense.

I’m not the only one He loves. I am His favorite though, and so are you. He loves you too. He loves you when you hated Him. He loves you when you hate Him. He loves you through your hot mess. He loves you and He loves me. He loves us and that’s enough.
