The Vision

Around October of 2012 I’m at Clemson University finishing up my last semester of Electrical Engineering classes when I feel the Lord tell me to learn about farming. I dive in and read all I can from the library, Clemson has its roots as an Agriculture and Military school, so finding a plethora of books on farming was easy enough. I learned quite a bit about farming, mostly homesteading.

Fast forward to July 2014 I’m in month one of my World Race in The Dominican Republic and I start dreaming with the Lord about a Farm/Bed and Breakfast that is a place of rest, restoration, and equipping for ministers of the Gospel.

Fast forward again and it’s the beginning of January 2016 and the Lord starts filling in more of a vision, a dream really:

The Lord’s Farm Bed and Breakfast is a resting place for ministers of the Gospel who feel burnt out to come and rest, but more importantly get equipped to go and rest as they go; abiding in the True Vine. The Lord is continuing to teach me how going and resting are the same thing, like a coin has two sides but is one coin. It is also a place where inner city kids can come and learn how amazing God is through growing plants that He designed; while creating space for the older generations to pour into the younger. There is also space for the arts, particularly pottery and blacksmithing; for the local community to come to and experience creating with the Creator. All this is supported through the self-sustainability of the farm.

That’s the overall vision of The Lord’s Farm Bed and Breakfast. The main focus is to minister to and equip missionaries or pastors to not get burnt out; abiding as they go. Everything else is there to spread the Gospel locally and create a self-sustaining ministry.

That’s the vision. Now we’re on a journey to see it come to fruition!
Fruition: 1) the point at which a plan or project is realized. 2) the state or action of producing fruit. My definition: Fruition – Fruit of the vision.
So, now we’re on a journey to see God produce the fruit of the vision!

If this has gotten your heart excited, please prayerfully consider partnering with me to see this vision come to fruition.
